Tracy Bruhn

Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge

Tracy is an Emmy-nominated writer, with over twenty years of experience in creative and technical writing and editing. She has written for and acted in over a dozen award-winning short films by Bitter Jester Studios (and even happily served as Key PA on a few of them!).  Tracy received a BA in Music from the University of Illinois at Chicago and works in finance.

Tracy is an accomplished French horn player. And though her creative outlets have taken her away from music and more into writing, she is an avid consumer of all things musical.

In 2015, she co-founded Bitter Jester Creative Development, LLC, with longtime collaborators and friends (and high school alumni (and fellow Bitter Jesters!)) Matt Birnholz, Nicolas DeGrazia, and Daniel Kullman.

In her capacity as a partner of BJCD, Tracy works on brainstorming and treatment writing for various half hour comedies and hour-long dramas for television. She also works to develop pitch material and content for various corporate and creative clients.
