Suzanne Cross has been singing in a variety of top notch Chicago based groups for several years. Starting out with a local cover band, The Cymbals, she later formed, sang leads, and wrote music with the original rock group The Method. Able to sing a variety of styles, she turned to classical singing with the prestigious Chicago Symphony Chorus for four seasons from 1999-2003.
She has worked with Grammy winners Paul Wertico and Howard Levy and stellar musicians Sugar Blue, Bernard Perdie, Richard Patterson, and many others.
She now works with groups such the premier Steely Dan Tribute Band, Deacon Blues, as vocal section leader, as well as The Mighty Grouper Blues Band, and lead singer and rhythm guitarist for The Great Pretenders.
A Music Therapist by day, Suzanne sings many styles with ease including jazz, standards, classical, and her favorite style, rock.
