Kathleen Lieffers (aka “Kathleen Lane”)

Kathleen Lieffers is a professional Vocalist and Composer based out of Chicago, Illinois, who performs under the stage name “Kathleen Lane.” She has written and performed her own music since a young age and now holds a degree in Vocal Performance with a focus in Jazz Repertoire from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Kathleen blends classic rock and indie influences to create her heartfelt, melancholic sound within her original music. She released two singles, ‘Pearls’ and ‘Secondhand’ in January & February of 2023 in anticipation of her debut album ‘Fat Chance’ released in March 2023.

She has performed as part of previous groups and as a solo performer at various Chicagoland venues including Foundation Room, Wire, Pierogi Festival, Rockopelli Music Festival, Elbo Room, Beat Kitchen, Underground Lounge, and Cubbie Bear.

She has also been a featured performer in the Satellite series of the Bitter Jester Music Fest (taking place every week at Harry Caray’s Tavern on Navy Pier between Memorial Day and Labor Day) since 2022. The series is sponsored by Goose Island.

Kathleen now has a full band to collaborate and perform with! Her music is available on all streaming platforms and she plays live with her band performing her original music.
