Jeff works in the marketing department for Visit Lake County, the marketing tourism organization in Lake County, Illinois. Visit Lake County is responsible for such things as The Lake County Libation Trail and Lake County Restaurant Week.
One of his true passions is broadcasting. After years as a territory manager and working in the home improvement sector, Jeff decided to go back to school to polish his broadcasting skills. He’s done everything from producing remote broadcasts to assisting with promotions and sales. Jeff loves the opportunity to get in front of the microphone to engage with an audience.
Jeff is currently on The Country Blend each weekday morning. On weekends, Jeff hosts two features, "Roots and Rhythm" and "The Bluegrass Brunch."
"Roots and Rhythm" showcases artists of color in country music and country-adjacent genres such as Americana, folk, and bluegrass.
"The Bluegrass Brunch" embraces the entire bluegrass genre, from traditional to progressive to jamgrass and beyond.
Jeff is also co-host of the food podcast "Fresh and Uncooked” where he and fellow host Chris talk about all things food. From best pizza toppings to what new products are coming out to stores. Food memories, recipes, to thoughts on small kitchen appliances and deciding once and for all who makes the best spicy chicken sandwich. A variety of food topics are discussed on this brand new food podcast.
In his free time, Jeff is likes to spend time with his family, try new cuisine, attend farmers markets, and take long walks.
