Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge

Isaac Rodriquez is a twenty year old artist, producer, songwriter, composer, session musician, and audio engineer from Chicago, IL.

He currently writes, records, and performs with the bands Fun Monkey, in which he is the lead singer and guitarist, and We Weren’t Invited, in which he is the bassist/synth player. Isaac also produces and records music for many independent Chicago musicians, including Alleypunk, who’s live band consists of Alleypunk himself on vocals and guitar, Jesse Nieves on bass, and Isaac on drums.

In addition to these projects, he also writes and produces material ranging from hip-hop to disco to indie rock, all under the name Yung Spicoli, and put out a solo album last year made during the pandemic.

Isaac thrives and works best with other people, so no matter what stage of creation a song is in, he is someone who can help you bring your idea out into the world. As a former competitor in the Bitter Jester Music Festival himself, he’s looking forward to returning as a judge, helping ensure that he and his team are on point and paying attention to what really matters: the music, no matter the style.
