Elijah Delrisco

Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge

Elijah Delrisco is a self-taught musician and artist from the suburbs of Chicago.

Self portrait by Elijah.

He has been playing music since 2016 with his go-to instrument (that he plays with passion!) is the drums. However, he also plays guitar and bass as well.

Elijah has been the drummer of an Alternative/Hard Rock band called Angels of Duality since 2019 (competing in Bitter Jester twice!) and has shared the stage with some of the most inspirational and passionate players on the planet, in his humble opinion.

Aside from Angels of Duality, Elijah has a solo music Alternative Rock project called The Crying Suns, where he plays all of the instruments on the EP (including drums, bass, and guitar).

He plans to release his debut EP titled "IX" on all streaming platforms in the summer of 2023 for The Crying Suns.

Music talk aside, he is a current student at Waubonsee Community College and currently studying to be a Paramedic/Firefighter like BJMF Production Manager Sean Seno! Elijah is getting EMT-B certified and plans to be working for a department in the near future.

He is so excited to be returning to the Bitter Jester battleground in a new capacity, as a judge and can’t wait to hear the immense talent at this year’s competition!

Angels of Duality released its first self-titled EP in 2019 on all streaming platforms, with the songs "The Deep" and "Rush Hour" gaining some traction among fans.

Angels of Duality has played across the Chicagoland area, and have performing at some great venues including Bottom Longue in the West Loop and The Wire in Berwyn.AOD even headlined a show at Navy Pier through The Bitter Jester Music Festival as well!

“When I played with my band at the Bitter Jester Music Festival back in 2019, It was easily one of of the best music experiences I've ever had as a musician so far. Even though the festival was a competition, everyone was in it for the sake of loving music and being able to share that passion and love - live on stage - with a bunch of fellow musicians. Not only that, the BJMF judges were tactful and constructive in their criticism, which was greatly appreciated as a young musician trying to get better in the music world!”
