Dylan Melville
Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge
Dylan Melville is a professional vocalist/arranger and composer currently based in Chicago, IL. He's known primarily as the bass and vocal foundation of the professional a cappella group Radius, for which he also acts as one of the arranges and its Business Manager.
Raised in Florida, Dylan knew that he wanted to pursue music since he was young, despite being really shy and not as outgoing as most of the musicians around him. He has always been business-minded from a young age, starting three different music microagencies before the age of 20.
In recent years he has appeared on national stages including American Airlines Arena, the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles.
Dylan studied Music Business at both the University of Miami and at Berklee College of Music, where he studied music business for 6 total years between programs. During his time in school he has sung with a cappella groups like TAG, BisCaydence and Distilled Harmony. Along with fellow Radius member Gabe Schonman, he placed 2nd at the International Competition of College A Cappella Finals in 2019.
Radius released their first EP, Silver Lining, in July, 2021, available on all major streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify. In 2023, Radius was the Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes Champions as well as the Audience Favorite pick.
Outside of music, he's an avid basketball fan and enjoys gaming.
