Chase Frankel
Bitter Jester Music Festival Judge
Chase Frankel is a musician in the Chicagoland area. Throughout high school and college, Chase played and taught low brass instruments, primarily tuba.
In addition to his experience performing in and teaching ensembles, Chase conducts musicals with full and reduced orchestras. Some of these include “The Pajama Game,” “Kiss Me Kate,” “Chicago,”and “The Little Mermaid.”
On weekends you can find Chase at the Music Institute of Chicago where he conducts the introduction to orchestra class known as the Preludio Orchestra. This is an introductory orchestra experience for students as young as ten years old.
Chase also has experience teaching marching band at both Sullivan High School and his alma mater, Glenbrook North High School. He primarily works with Tuba, Sousaphone, Euphonium, Baritone, and Trombone sections on musicality in the marching arts.
He currently resides in Northbrook, IL, and is extremely happy to be involved with Bitter Jester! While Chase does not have any professional head shots, he hopes you will enjoy these pictures that are a bit less professional in variety… including hard evidence that he cannot keep his phone charged.
