Benjie Weiss is a seasoned singer and lyricist with over a decade of experience as a vocalist, performing as part of credited groups with numerous awards in the jazz genre.

He holds a BA in English with a writing focus from Lake Forest College and has years of classical voice training. Benjie has performed in jazz groups including Gold Company II and was the lead singer and songwriter for the neo-funk band SlyFye.

Benjie enjoys sharing the task of judging for Bitter Jester along with an esteemed panel of colleagues and music professionals.
