Richard Roeper invited the Bitter Jester Music Festival and some of its musicians to appear on Good Day Chicago to promote the 2016 festival's 'Best Of' Concert at Navy Pier.

On Friday, July 22, 2016, the Bitter Jeter Music Festival (then "Battle of the Bands") appeared on Good Day Chicago on FOX channel 32. Festival founder Nicolas DeGrazia introduced the event and competition band Elise and the Police performed their original song "Please, Friend" live on the air!
